This was my family's first rafting trip. A very good friend recommended Raging Rivers to us. We booked very last minute and Mr Ron the owner was very accommodating. He managed to get us on the river with very little notice. My good friend said to ask for Mr Paul as our guide. We were able to get him. He was very good and we felt confident in his abilities to get us down the river safely and he did so while being funny and knowledgeable about the river and its history. We were able to meet a couple of the other guides and they too are awesome people. I will always use Raging Rivers in the future. Great prices, great people, and great equipmet. Thank you Ron and Paul for the memories my family made. You guys are the best.

If you're wondering who to go rafting with here, you can stop looking!! The Raging Rivers crew have superior knowledge of all the turns and curves of the river as they are locals who grew up in the area. Their depth of knowledge is extraordinary, as well as their heart for guiding trips. We were a party of two plus our guide known jovially as "Thumper" that went on a trip. The water was really cold, but Thumper made us laugh with his kind and youthful spirit. He was instructive and downright awesome! We had so much fun and will recommend this company over all the other companies any day. Please stop in and support this locally owned company.

Don't let the small size of this place allow it to be overlooked . There are several very large rafting businesses in the area that will pop up at the top of a web search, but this place is top notch.  We stopped in just cruising through the area on our way home from another location where we had been vacationing and decided riding down the Nantahala would be a great finish for our trip. So, without reservations or even calling, we stopped in, and in the time it took to ready ourselves, they had a raft loaded and a van ready to take us to the drop in. A fun ride with a stop at a pizza shack for lunch on the river that allowed us to run a tab and pay at RRRC when we arrived back at the business made for a wonderful day. The staff couldn't have been better. We will go back and wouldn't consider another company.

What a wonderful place! They were awesome, we did things the larger rafting companies do not do. We went to some caves, a jumping rock,a pizza place by the water, or guide was great and we even took two 7 yr olds. Will go there again and will use this place again. So much fun and they treat you like people not an assembly line. A MUST visit for rafting.

We decided last minute we wanted to go rafting with our 7 year old child. We did not have to wait at all and our child was free. I am so glad we decided on this company because they treated us excellent. Our guide, John, did a wonderful job and we had a fantastic job!! I found it to be less expensive than the other companies and would definitely recommend!!
